Karen and I have enjoyed many a great holiday, one stands out more than others because we got engaged on her birthday while we were in Kissimmee, Florida, USA.  Thankfully, Karen accepted with no hesitation, otherwise it would have been the worst holiday ever.  Below is a picture of us at Universal Studios, can you see the engagement ring??

 

 

Karen’s Hiking achievements include the scary Striding Edge of Hellvellyn, the rocky peak of Scafell Pike, the foggy Langdale Pikes and the Great, Great Gable.

 

Karen will become a fisherman’s wife on the 6th August 2005, marrying me gives her that title.  To enable me to still go fishing, I have given careful consideration to Karen over the past few years of how I can persuade her to understand my Passion for Angling.  Here’s how I did it……………..

 

I booked us a week’s holiday at Centre Parcs, Longleat in the Penthouse apartment, what joys we will have I told her, relaxing in the forest surroundings, indulging in the Spa and fine Restaurants there.  Exercising by playing Badminton, Tennis, Swimming and Cycling.  I think the short film and picture below shows how good a holiday we had:
